Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about Supload.

Frequently Asked Questions

What cloud storage does Supload support?
Google Drive is our first integration at launch. We plan to add Dropbox, OneDrive, and other platforms over time — but we want to nail the Google Drive experience first.
What happens to my photos after uploading?
Once your photos and videos are safely uploaded to your cloud storage, they're deleted from the Supload app. Your content lives in your cloud account — Supload is the bridge, not the destination.
Will Supload content take up my phone storage?
Temporarily, yes — photos and videos are stored in Supload's app sandbox until they're uploaded. Once they're safely in the cloud, they're removed from your device. Your personal camera roll is never touched.
How is Supload different from my regular camera app?
Your default camera saves everything to one camera roll — work selfies next to vacation photos. Supload is purpose-built for work: capture, organize into project groups, and upload directly to cloud storage. It replaces the three-app juggle of Camera → Photos → Google Drive with a single workflow.
Can I add photos from my existing camera roll?
Absolutely. We know you won't always remember to open Supload first — you can import photos from your phone gallery and organize them into groups just like any other capture.
Is my content private and secure?
Your photos and videos go directly from your device to your own cloud storage account. Supload never sees, stores, or processes your media on our servers. All image processing (thumbnails, night mode, etc.) happens on-device. We use zero third-party trackers — no Google Analytics, no Firebase, no data selling. Ever.
Does Supload track my location?
Only if you opt in. GPS tagging is entirely optional and requires your explicit iOS permission. When enabled, it embeds coordinates in photo metadata — helpful for job sites, inspections, and field documentation. You can disable it anytime.
What about pricing?
We're finalizing our tier structure — Free for individuals getting started, Pro for power users, and Business+ for teams. Pricing details will be announced before launch. Join the waitlist to be the first to know.
What does "Supload" mean?
Simple Upload. We wanted the name to say exactly what the app does — get your work content from your phone to the cloud, simply.
Who built Supload?
Supload was built by Zack Logan, who lived this problem firsthand in the solar industry. Two missing photos of an electrical panel once delayed engineering drawings by two weeks and impacted project profitability. That frustration — losing track of critical work photos buried in a personal camera roll — is exactly what Supload solves.
